Using iCaster you can reproduce remote files that you can access thru the LAN or the internet. All you need is iCaster server installed in the source computer in the lan.

Installing iCaster server in every pc you have, all the selected files will be available under the "network media" option of the Media Lab software. You will be able to browse you LAN, choose a pc and then select a file you want to play.

Also DVD movies run smoothly thru Media Lab. If you want you can have a graphic equalizator shown on the LCD display of Media Lab while watching your favorite movie.

A nice feature allows you to play DVDs previously ripped (with IFO and VOB files) on your hard drive!

The section regarding internet streaming is very well done. A 1Mbit ADSL granted a flawless listening! Really remarkable the huge list of radio stations that are preset! Hundreds and hundreds of radio stations broadcasting from every corner in the world. Most of them have 128+kbps bitrates and this make the listening a pleasure.

If you have a PCI TV Tuner installed toy can manage it thru iMedian: you can watch tv live or record it on HDD and watch it later. A timer is also available, so you can program Media Lab to act like a video recorder!

Once you set up recording time you can safely switch off the pc: Media Lab will wake it up at the right time. During the "sleep mode" the LCD display will show what will be next wake up time!
