Want to see what iMedian can do? we wanted it too, so we push the blue button on the remote and launch iMedian!

iMedian lets you manage all the multimedia functions, like music, videos or photos playing, remote files launch, CD/DVD playing, internet radio webcasting, or even TV watching, if your PC has a TV tuner module!

An Explorer application is provided. Surfing through phisical resources like HDDs, removable medias and optical drives is a breeze!

Of course a full-screen option is always available: there's a dedicated remote control button to toggle between window and full screen mode. Shuffle and Repeat (one, folder, all) play modes are available for any kind of file. When playing audio files you can select the equalization you like: there are almost twenty presets! And you can also choose among twelve graphics effects, rythm based, that will show on the screen!

We have a couple of considerations to do now. Up to now the low-end pc always did it well, but the 3D graphics of visual effects during MP3 playing required 100% of the cpu time. This was caused by the obsolete Geforce 2 MX200 video card. Software did not have any problems in anyway, but the pc had slow response to the button pushed on the remote control. We tried to change the video card with a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 128Mb AGP and this solved all the problems: only 30% to 60% cpu usage and no slow response at all! Or, if you don't want to change video card, you can simply turn off visualization effects during music playback! This bring back CPU utilization to a mere 10%.
