PCStats.com ha pubblicato la recensione della scheda video MSI G4MX440-T8X Half Height, soluzione basata sulla GPU nVidia GeForce 4 MX440SE, dotata di supporto allo standard AGP 8X e 64MB di ram. La scheda nel corso dei test ha fatto denotare una discreta propensione all'overclock:

Based on the GeForce4 MX440SE GPU, the core was clocked at 250 MHz (25 MHz lower then a regular MX440/MX440-8X) and the memory was humming along at 400 MHz. We first began to raise the core speed slowly 5 MHz at a time; 275 MHz came and went quite easily as did 300 MHz (default speed of the MX460 core). To my surprise the little G4MX440-T8X maxed out the coolbits slider at 315 MHz with absolutely no problems.

Per testare la scheda, sono stati eseguiti numerosi test tra cui 3DMark 2001SE, Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament 2003, AcquaMark 2.3 e Comanche 4. I risultati sono stati comparati con quelli ottenuti dalla scheda MSI GF4TI4600 TD e dalla ATI Radeon 9700Pro.
